Meet the founder.
Janet Mandell’s story is rooted in resilience, discipline, and entrepreneurship—values instilled by her father, a former algebra professor who rebuilt his life in the United States after immigrating from Korea when Janet was just five years old. After managing finance and accounting operations for her father's company and launching successful design ventures in the pet and children’s industries, Janet's creative path evolved through her work as a fashion blogger and mother of two.
From her experience highlighting designer fashion and personal style, she discovered that she wanted to transform how people access and consume it. Driven by a deep passion for circular fashion and a vision to make high-end style democratized, Janet launched her namesake luxury fashion rental company. By giving rare designer pieces and high fashion a longer lifecycle, she created a platform where clients can experience luxury without full retail investment, use their investment pieces to create passive income and brands can participate in a whole new approach to sustainability, cementing her role as a visionary curator, stylist, and sustainable fashion pioneer.
“Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way you live".”
